My, oh my it looks like this poor old blog has been neglected! Well this just wont do. Time to dust off the pages and start anew! With a lot of love and care, and a little bit of magic, I bet we can get this poor old blog all spruced up! First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Godmother Linda. As you may have guessed, I am the Fairy Godmother of Lindovia. My job is to take care of all the fairies that live in Lindovia's Enchanted forest. Whether it's a wing that needs mending or a potion for the fairy flu, I always know just what to do! And now I have taken it upon myself to make this my job too: Updating this blog so that we can keep all of our friends, new and old, informed about the goings on of the Princesses, Fairies, and of all the other magical creatures here in Lindovia. And my, are we all ever so busy! With Spring fast approaching, everyone is getting ready for all the new joys of the Season. The fairies are getting ready to help whisk Winter away and bring the Spring season! The Mermaids, who spent the Winter season swimming in warmer waters, will return to the Mermaid Cove of Lindovia. The Ballerinas of the Lindovian Royal Ballet are busy decorating tutus and preparing a new piece for the Spring Performance. And the Princesses are getting ready for a busy season of exciting birthday celebrations!

Spring is a time of new beginnings, new ideas and new friends! And we have some new friends from Lindovia who will be joining us in celebrating children's birthdays in lands near and far! Pirate Captain Josephine of the North Star and her crew have sailed the seven seas and are now sailing to the shores of Los Angeles and would love to meet you and your little ones!

More exciting news: Real Princess Parties has introduced several new packages to our repertoire, including our "Table Manners & Etiquette Package", our 2-hour, multi-character "Extravaganza Package", two "Ballerina Dance Party Packages" and two new "Pirate Adventure Packages"! We will also be introducing our "Flittering Fairy Show" to several of our current packages, where your child and her guests will get to meet a real flying fairy in this 10 minute interactive show! We are so excited for the addition of so many wonderful new packages & characters but we musn't forget about our long beloved characters too! Our Princesses, Fairies, Princes and Mermaids will all be getting a NEW LOOK, complete with brand new custom-made costumes and accessories. Featuring beautiful costumes is a large part of our overall dedication to maintaining the highest quality entertainment. Over the past year, our Princess gowns have been worn countless times and loved immensely with each and every wear. From the speckles of sparkles acquired during face painting, to the small tears here and there from a wild and exciting game of freeze tag, to the wrinkles from countless hugs, our dresses have been worn in with love. While we treasure the memory of each little beauty spot, we are committed to maintaining the most beautiful, highest quality Princess attire. Therefore, our Royal Princesses will each be getting a new custom-made ball gown, with a tiara and hairstyle to match! We are certain that this set will be even lovelier than our last! Please stay posted as we will be unveiling the Princesses' new look one by one, as the Royal Seamstress completes each gown.

Many of our other friends will be receiving new garments as well! Our fairies are hard at work, each stitching and weaving a stunning new dress made from the finest petals and leaves of the season, with a matching floral head wreath. And lets not forget our Princes, who will be getting new Royal Regimentals! The mermaids will be shedding their scales to reveal the bold and brilliant colors beneath, and stringing together pearls and seashells to make new hair pieces.

Oh my, it's just all so exciting! So many wonderful new things to come! But of course, while we anxiously await all of these wonderful new things, we must remember to keep the old. "One is silver and the other is gold", you know. After three and a half wonderful years of sharing in the joy of birthday celebrations, our message has remained the same: We have always believed that beauty shines from the inside out, and while lovely new dresses and sparkling tiaras are certainly fun and exciting, being kind, brave, and believing in yourself is what makes a true Princess. We look forward to continuing to share our message with all the children we meet!
